Ashbourne Oak brings grey colouring and brushed texture to a long-plank floor. A UV lacquered finish completes the surface. Rustic knots and changing grain add individual character to the 150mm-wide boards.
A 3mm real oak wear layer sits over a poplar + eucalyptus multi-ply core, giving a total thickness of 14mm. Rustic grade celebrates visible knots, varied grain and natural changes in colour from board to board.
The 150 × 1900mm boards give the floor a generous plank format and a clear sense of direction. Each box covers 2.28m². The flooring is priced per m² and sold in complete boxes.
Ashbourne Oak pairs soft grey oak colouring with the natural character of oak planks. The brushed surface adds texture and makes the grain more prominent. The engineered construction combines a real oak surface with a layered timber core.
Suitable for domestic living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens. Keep the floor dry and wipe up kitchen splashes promptly.
For indoor floor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. Natural wood varies in grain and colour, giving each floor its own character.
Pair the grey oak tones with warm whites, muted blues or soft charcoal. Natural textiles soften the room while keeping the grain and layout visible.
Priced per m² and supplied in complete boxes of 2.28m². Enter your required area in the Timberwharf calculator to see the number of boxes, total area supplied and total price.
Allow for cutting waste when planning your order. Your fitter should set an allowance for the room shape, board direction and difficult cuts. Add that allowance once, and order the full project quantity together.
Pack weight: 18kg.
Fitting: Suitable for floating, nailed or glued-down installation, depending on the subfloor and fitting system. Use the appropriate underlay and joint adhesive where required for a floating floor.
Preparation: Acclimatise and install according to the fitting instructions. The subfloor must be suitably dry, level and sound. Allow expansion gaps and blend boards from several boxes to distribute natural variation.
Underfloor heating: Suitable with a compatible heating system and installation. Follow the flooring and heating-system instructions for commissioning and temperature control.
Care: Remove grit with a soft brush or suitable vacuum head. Use a well-wrung damp mop and a cleaner intended for lacquered wood floors. Wipe up spills promptly and protect furniture feet. Avoid steam cleaners and excess water.
