Wetherby Oak brings warm honey-brown variation and rustic oak character to a straight plank floor. The brushed surface follows the natural grain, and the UV Oiled finish gives the timber a warm, tactile appearance.
Boards are 150mm wide and supplied in random lengths from 300 to 1200mm, creating a varied arrangement of joints. A 3mm real oak wear layer sits over a multi-ply core, with an overall thickness of 14mm and a bevel on all four sides.
Choose Wetherby Oak for its 150mm width and random lengths, which give the floor a naturally varied arrangement. The oak surface is supported by a layered core, combining the appearance of real timber with engineered construction.
Suitable for domestic living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens. In kitchens, wipe up splashes promptly and keep the floor dry.
For indoor floor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms, basements, outdoor spaces or persistently damp areas. Wood naturally varies in grain and colour, so the finished floor will have individual character.
Combine the warm oak with cream upholstery, muted greens or charcoal accents. The shorter, varied board lengths add detail to traditional rooms and contrast well with simple contemporary furniture.
This floor is priced per m² and supplied in complete boxes of 1.44m². Enter your floor area in the Timberwharf calculator. It rounds up to whole boxes, displays the total area supplied and calculates the flooring cost using that supplied area.
Allow for cutting waste before finalising your order. Your fitter should set the allowance for the room shape, board direction and any difficult cuts. Add this allowance once. Order the full project quantity together to help maintain a consistent appearance.
Fitting: Suitable for floating, nailed or glued-down installation, depending on the subfloor and fitting system. For a floating installation, use a suitable underlay and glue the tongue-and-groove joints as directed in the installation instructions.
Preparation: Acclimatise the flooring for at least 72 hours in the room where it will be fitted. The room should be dry and maintained at 18–27°C. Have your fitter check subfloor moisture, level and condition, and provide the required expansion gaps. Inspect the boards before fitting and blend boards from several boxes.
Underfloor heating: Suitable when the heating system, subfloor and installation are compatible with engineered wood. Follow the flooring and heating-system instructions for commissioning, temperature control and gradual changes in temperature.
Care: Remove grit with a soft brush or suitable vacuum head. Clean with a well-wrung damp mop and a cleaner intended for oiled wood floors. Wipe up spills promptly, protect furniture feet and avoid steam cleaners or excess water.
