Rawcliffe Oak offers smooth, unfinished pieces for a chevron floor with your chosen wood-floor treatment. The 90 × 510mm format creates continuous V-shaped rows. Select grade provides smaller knots and relatively even colouring while retaining natural oak grain.
A 3mm real oak wear layer sits over a poplar + eucalyptus multi-ply core, giving a total thickness of 14mm. Select grade offers smaller knots and more even colouring, while retaining natural wood character.
The 90 × 510mm pieces meet end to end to form continuous V-shaped chevron rows. Each box covers 1.4688m². The flooring is priced per m² and sold in complete boxes.
Rawcliffe Oak pairs natural oak colouring with the continuous V-shaped lines of chevron. The smooth surface keeps the appearance clean and lets the grain take centre stage. Its unfinished surface allows you to personalise the final treatment.
Suitable for domestic living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and kitchens. Keep the floor dry and wipe up kitchen splashes promptly.
For indoor floor use only. Not suitable for bathrooms, wet rooms or outdoor use. Natural wood varies in grain and colour, giving each floor its own character.
Combine the light oak tones with warm whites, soft neutrals and natural textiles. Darker furniture can add contrast without competing with the grain.
Priced per m² and supplied in complete boxes of 1.4688m². Enter your required area in the Timberwharf calculator to see the number of boxes, total area supplied and total price.
Allow for cutting waste when planning your order. Your fitter should set an allowance for the room shape, chevron layout and any borders. Add that allowance once, and order the full project quantity together.
Pack weight: 15.16kg.
Fitting: Glue down to a suitable prepared subfloor using a compatible wood-floor adhesive. This tongue-and-groove chevron floor is not suitable for floating installation. Plan and align the pattern carefully before fixing the pieces.
Preparation: Acclimatise and install according to the fitting instructions. The subfloor must be suitably dry, level and sound. Allow expansion gaps and blend boards from several boxes to distribute natural variation.
Underfloor heating: Suitable with a compatible heating system and installation. Follow the flooring and heating-system instructions for commissioning and temperature control.
Care: Apply a compatible wood-floor finish before everyday use. Follow the chosen finish’s curing and maintenance instructions. Once finished, remove grit regularly, protect furniture feet and clean with a product suitable for that finish.
